Biography

I am a former middle school Spanish and Science teacher.  After nine years of teaching I pursued my doctorate and received my Ph.D. from the University of Washington in Curriculum and Instruction.  My areas of interest are teacher education, multilingual and multicultural education, and science education.

Soy Profesora Asistente en el departamento de Education Studies. Antes de ser profesora fui maestra de ciencias y espa帽ol al nivel intermedio. Despu茅s de nueve a帽os como maestra fui a la Universidad de Washington para obtener mi doctorado en curr铆culo y ense帽anza.  Mis intereses incluyen la educaci贸n de docentes, educaci贸n multiling眉e y multicultural, y educaci贸n de ciencias.
