Activate Your Account

To activate your account, you will need your username and campus ID, which are found in your admit letter or application acknowledgment email.

Apply For Housing

Housing assignments are first-come, first-served — so don't procrastinate! Students are guaranteed on-campus living if the Housing application is submitted by May 1.

Find a Roommate (optional)

Roommate Groups

If you already know who you want to live with, there is nothing you must do right now. Roommate group creation will become available in April 2027.

Roommate groups must be created by May 1, 2027, to be valid.

You can create, accept, or manage roommate group invitations through your Housing Portal beginning April 2027 through May 1, 2027.

After May 1, 2027, students who have not established a mutual roommate group will be assigned individually based on the housing assignment process.

Looking for a Roommate?

If you don't already know who you want to live with, you can opt into the Roommate Finder through your Housing Portal, which can be accessed once the housing application has been submitted.

Roommate Finder allows you to search for other students who have answered the roommate matching questionnaire similarly to you. You can also choose to add your social media handles to your profile to help potential roommates learn more about you.

Once you find someone you'd like to live with, you can invite them to your roommate group through the Housing Portal once the process opens in April 2027. Remember that the roommate group must be created by May 1, 2027.

Important Deadline

May 1, 2027, is the deadline to establish a mutual roommate group. Students who have not established a mutual roommate group by this deadline will be treated as individual applicants for housing assignment purposes. Since group creation will not open until early April 2027, watch your email closely as you will be notified once groups are available to be made!

Review Assignment

Assignments occur in June. More details on assignments coming in May.

Round 1: Students who elect for and are selected for a Living Learning Community or an international roommate will be assigned by the Housing Office.

Round 2: Students who do not receive an assignment during Round 1 will be assigned by Housing & Residence Life staff. Assignments will be processed in the order that completed housing applications were submitted. Housing personnel will work to accommodate student preferences, including roommate requests, to the extent possible based on availability.
