For Fall or Spring terms, please contact CVTC Student Life Office for parking option on the CVTC campus as there is no availability at ������ý. For Summer Term, residents may park on the ������ý campus in any available “R” designated space for summer only at no charge.

The ������ý student Resident Assistant and full-time staff Hall Director are available to assist students with questions or concerns throughout the academic year.

If you already have a roommate preference, ������ý Housing will try to pair you up based on room availability. If you do not have a roommate preference or we are unable to honor your preference, you will be randomly paired with either another CVTC student or ������ý student.

Fall Term: Student will receive assignment end of July or beginning of August

Spring Term: Student will receive assignments by mid-January

Summer Term: Student will receive assignments mid-May

All residence hall double spaces within Murray Hall are available on a first come first serve basis. Once a student submits their CVTC application, a space is held for this student and the protocol specified in the contract are followed to officially secure the space.

Fall Term: 50 spaces
Spring Term: 10 spaces
Summer Term: No limit. Based on overall space availability.

Spring Term: Mid-September

Fall Term: Mid-October

Summer Term: Early April

• 2026-2027 rate for a Murray Hall room is $2,702.50 per semester. 
• Fall payments are due in full on September 25, 2026. Spring payments deadline is TBD. Students should watch their CVTC emails for their invoice from ������ý Housing with instructions on how to pay.
  • If an invoice is not paid in full by the due date, the student will incur a 10% late fee. If the bill is not paid in full within 1 week of the late fee, ������ý housing will begin the contract termination process.
  • UW-Eau Claire Housing is not able to offer payment plans for CVTC students residing in Murray Hall. Invoices are due in full by the published deadline.
• The deposit/pre-payment is applied to the student's first-term payment.

Fall 2026: 

• Move in is on Sunday, August 23rd from 10:00am - 4:00pm. 
• If not attending for Spring, CVTC students must be moved out no later than Saturday, December 12, 2026 at 6:00pm. Students who plan to continue attending CVTC for Spring 2027 may keep their items in their residence hall room over winter break at no additional charge.

Spring 2027: 

• Move in is on Sunday, January 24, 2027 from 10:00am - 4:00pm.
• All CVTC students must be moved out for the 2026-27 academic session no later than Saturday, May 22, 2027 at Noon.

All ������ý residence halls remain open during Fall, Winter, and Spring breaks and are free of charge. Only continuing CVTC students are eligible to stay in their residence hall space during these academic breaks. If a student is not returning for the Spring term, they are ineligible to remain in their residence hall room during Winter Break, and they must plan to move out at the end of the Fall term. 

A separate application is needed if a student wants to stay over the summer (available early April).
