Determining what credit you will receive: a score of three (3) or better on an Advanced Placement examination will give the student credit in one of the following ways:
- Course specific credit
- Credits associated with Core General Education Requirement (CGER) outcome(s)
- General electives
Students receive a grade of 鈥淐P.鈥 This is not a 鈥渞eal grade鈥 that counts in the GPA, but it meets the prerequisite whenever a 鈥淐 or higher鈥 is required. For specific grade equivalencies, go to the UW Help website and input your exam information to find out your anticipated course equivalency:
