Biography
Dr. Damir Kova膷evi膷 joined our department in 2018. He teaches courses in the areas of international relations and comparative politics, specifically, Introduction to World Politics, International Conflict, International Relations Theory, Culture and Politics, and U.S. Foreign Policy. His research agenda is twofold: his primary area of study is comparative genocide studies, primarily in the former Yugoslavia and the local dynamics of ethnic cleansing and political violence broadly. His secondary area of research is in the field of international relations theory, norms, human rights, and the use of unconventional weapons in warfare.
